The Maiden Voyage

I am a Canuck fan.  I live in the Greater Toronto Area.  Do I need to go any further to explain the issue.  It's hard listening to sports radio shows in this city if you're not a Leafs fan.  How many call in shows do we have to have to know that the consensus is that the Maple Leafs suck this year (surprise surprise), they shouldn't have traded their picks for Phil Kessel, and Ron Wilson should be fired.  Well, for those of us sick of this, let's talk about a good team, a team that has a legitimate shot at the Stanley Cup, and a team that has good players yet can still be better.

So far this season I am pretty happy with how the team has played.  Sure, the Chicago game where they got absolutely bombed was not fun to watch, but overall they are playing well in an extremely competitive conference.  Just look at Dallas, they were not in a playoff spot last week and were on the verge of mediocre season, but they win 4 games and are second in the conference.  The challenge for the Canucks will be to stay consistent, not to fall into a funk for too long, to continue to have the best power play in the league.  So what do you see as the main challenges for the team as the season marches on towards the All-Star game?
